Group 1 - Generally contains the Polished Brasses. Group 2 - The 'other-than' polished Brasses, like Satin or Antique Brass. Group 3 - Contains everything else, like Nickels, Chromes, Blacks, Bronzes, Coppers, and even some faux finishes.
